GBDTA

About

Our Club

History

GBDTA was created in 1975 by a small group of local area dance teachers seeking a way to exchange ideas and create a strong, supportive network among one another. Over 40 years later, we are a group of over 50 dance teachers and studio owners who strive for unity, and support throughout our dance community. GBDTA is a non-profit organization, who hosts an annual local scholarship for high school seniors that has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, and an annual dance competition that focuses on the love for the artform of dance, students supporting one another, and a healthy, appropriate competition for kids. We are truly proud of our club!
